Also if our warehouse is open, due to these new measures, the shipping companies’ performances will be slower than normal, and we will have some delays in shipping the parcels.

After one week of isolation, many of the Chinese areas under lockdown finally reopened, including Shenzhen.

Consequently, our Warehouse has resumed operations, our team is back to work and our Shipping and Fulfillment services are back to normal.

We are sorry to inform you that in China there is a new lockdown affecting many areas, including Shenzhen. 

Shenzhen is the city where we have our Warehouse, and where many factories from which you normally buy are also located. 

Chinese authorities decided to close all activities from the 14th to the 20th of March, after which they will decide the next steps.

But don’t despair, unlike other companies, our warehouse is still open, we can reply to your quotations and place new orders.

About dropshipping orders, we can continue shipping out the products that we have already in stock.

On the other hand until the 20th:

  • We can’t receive new items this means the orders with no inventory cannot be shipped out;
  • The fulfillment might have a small delay due to reduced manpower in our warehouse.

 

About wholesale orders, at the moment it is not possible to ship any wholesale shipment.

Early warning of delay in transit time in on various destinations of Special Line: 

Lithuania

Due to the peak season’s increase in cargo volume, and the upgrade of the service provider system, parcels sent to Lithuania are expected to be delayed by 2-5 days. At this moment, there is no information about when the situation will come back to normal.

France

Recently, affected by the increase in cargo volume, the French Customs Clearance warehouses are overstocked. Packages sent to France are expected to be delayed for 2-4 days due to customs clearance and transshipment. Right now, there is no information about when the situation will come back to normal.

United Kingdom 

Due to an increase in cargo volume in LHR terminals in the United Kingdom, parcels (non-standard express) are expected to be delayed for 3-5 days between customs clearance and delivery. Special Line have moved some parcels to STN terminals to alleviate current delays.

United States

Due to an increase in cargo volume in US terminals, the time for customs clearance and transshipment is expected to be delayed by 1-3 days. At this moment, there is no information about when the situation will come back to normal.

Italy

Due to covid restrictions and the recent heavy rain, the reception, transshipment and delivery of the Italian terminal service providers are all affected. For these reasons the packages are expected to be delayed by 3-5 days.

Australia

The epidemic in Australia has eased. At present, the parcels are expected to have a delay of 1-3 days during the customs clearance and transshipment process, and the end delivery process is expected to be delayed by 3-5 days.

Mexico 

The delivery delays caused by typhoons and heavy rains have ended but the impact of the epidemic still continues, for this reason parcels to Mexico are expected to be delayed by 1-3 days.

 

Switzerland

Due to typhoons and heavy rain, there has been a prolonged delay in the flight schedule. Parcels sent to Switzerland are expected to be delayed by 2-4 days in the air transport link, but normal timing for delivery is expected to resume within this week.

South Africa 

Affected by the Shanghai International Expo, some flights have been canceled. In addition, due to the impact of stocking on the Black Friday Shopping Festival, the warehousing time has been extended, and parcels sent to South Africa will be delayed by 5-7 days in the air transport link. The situation is expected to gradually return to normal after Black Friday.

Canada

Due to the Shanghai International Import Expo, some flights have been canceled, and for this reason, parcels sent to Canada are expected to be delayed by 2-4 days in the air transport link. In addition, the increase in cargo volume stations at Canadian terminals will prolong customs clearance operation and cause an expected parcels delay of 8-10 days. Right now, there is no information about when the situation will come back to normal.

Israel

Due to the epidemic, airlines are understaffed. Packages sent to Israel are expected to be delayed by 1-3 days in the air transport link. The situation is expected to return to normal next week.

Norway 

The terminal delivery delays caused by the epidemic are gradually easing. At the same time, however, due to the increase in cargo volume, it is estimated that there will be a 1-2 days delay in the terminal delivery of packages to Norway. The situation is expected to return to normal in mid-December.

Malaysia 

The epidemic situation in Malaysia has eased. At present, terminal delivery services in many areas have returned to normal.

Vietnam 

Recently, Vietnam Customs inspections have become more strict, and they have begun to send special personnel to inspect goods. For this reason, it is estimated that there will be a 3-5 days delay in the customs clearance and transshipment process. At the same time, according to government policy, customs will intermittently inspect goods after the 11th of November, and this situation is expected to continue until the 12th of December.

Netherlands 

The backlog of Dutch customs warehouses is gradually improving. Currently, 2-3 days of delay are expected in customs clearance and transshipment.

Thailand

Affected by the overseas epidemic, the domestic port prevention, and control system has been upgraded, which has caused a delay in the vehicle queue time. Goods sent to Thailand are expected to be delayed for 4-5 days in the export link. Right now, there is no information about when the situation will come back to normal.

Greece 

Due to a problem in the Greek Customs System, there has been an overload in cargo volume, some of the parcels arriving in Greece in the last few days are expected to be delayed for 3-5 days in the customs clearance process. At present, new packages will be sent to other areas for customs clearance to minimize the impact on final delivery.

Belgium 

The recent upgrade of the Belgian Terminals inspection system and the infection of the epidemic have led to a shortage of manpower and a backlog of goods. The time limit for customs clearance of some parcels is expected to be delayed by 3-7 days. There is currently no exact recovery time.

Due to typhoons, floods, epidemics and other natural disasters, Mexico, Vietnam, the US, Australia, Canada, Israel, and some European countries may have some delays:

We have 2 updates about natural disasters that are causing shipping delays:

Central Europe
A number of countries in Central Europe have experienced catastrophic floods. According to forwarder companies, overseas transshipment and delivery are expected to be delayed for 1 to 3 days in the following countries:
Belgium, Germany, France, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg.

United States
Many states in the western part of the United States have been hit by violent wildfires.
These are the most serious wildfires in the United States since the beginning of 2021. They burned an area larger than 476 square miles (1233 square kilometers), which is equivalent to the area of ​​Los Angeles.

The Associated Press reported that, due to the situation, at least 2,000 families have been evacuated, another 5,000 families could be in the next few days, and at least 70 houses and more than 100 buildings were burnt down.

Due to the situation, shipping delays are possible also in the western areas of the United States.
